Yesterday was SaVonni's first day of school. She was so happy, I on the other hand wanted to cry. I can't believe how fast my kids are growing up, it's like the older I get the faster time flies. I woke her up at about 6:30 to get her ready I had our morning planned out perfectly: I did her hair, got her dressed and gave her breakfast. She wanted to ride the bus to school so I thought ok, I'll walk her to the stop and then I'll catch the Metro downtown to my office. Well we walked up our street and waited for her bus and waited and waited and it never came. It turned out that the bus company sent me the wrong information on her drop off location(thankfully it wasn't the school bus company that I work for, I would've went straight to work and talked to the President, plus they had us crossing a busy street). We walked home and LaMarque and I drove her to school(he wanted to do that anyway). When we got to the school she was like, "mom are you leaving"? I was so sad, I was just standing around wanting her to hold my hand and hug me or something. But it didn't happen. Later that day.....so I left work early to wait at the bus stop; boy when she saw me on that bottom step she stared to cry. She hated riding the bus after all. I felt bad but she had a wonderful day at school. She is going to this awesome performing arts school called Schiel. She is doing ballet and violin. She started ballet at 3 and loves it. Here are a few pictures.
